I put up mp3s of the album called Wild Air. Datcha Tenucci is on Electric Guitar, Gregg Carter Drums, and Cosa Ross Percussion. I think it was recorded not too long after this concert or early 1985. I went and saw Paul play in Brooklyn at Issue Project Room on 11/6/2008. He's an electric guitarist now. There was a bassist and drummer and he made sounds off a laptop.
Here are some Pictures taken on that fateful day by my friend Remy Artiges from Paris. Not only he took these but he helped us build giant on 28th here and there. He also Collaborated on HYPE Electrazine taking pictures of roaches for us.
As you'll see, we not only took the doors, but also galvanized ventilation tubes, chairs and even sheetrock.
Sir Slack, you will be seeing my pictures soon including ones of the "soda" machine and of Bitch.
Enjoy these...

---------------------------- Super Cool Giant Mofo ----------------------------
SO Pede Boi would play S.O.B. in the village every week. Jaco Pastrorius started to come to the gigs. Pe De Boi was star struck by Jaco...he was very famous in Brazilian Music community. He jumped onstage with them and was really wasted. At first he played some bass and was great..the crowd loved it. Then he jumped on the drums and couldnt keep a beat..the whole gig kind of went in the toilet. He started showing up every week So at first it was "Jaco's Here!" with great excitement. Then it turned out to be be "Jaco's here!" and dreading him hopping onstage to jam becuase he would just turn the gig into chaos. Eventurally he got banned because of his drunken behaviour. As he did in many places.
Well...It had to happen sooner or later. This is the last week of Giant. They have torn down half of the flower block on 28th. Hotels are being built beside and behind. The building on the other side has been torn down and the building we are in will be torn down soon. The music buildings are turning rooms into condos. It would be near impossible to build any music studio in the city now. I will post pix of the studio next week as we close it down.
Joey started coming in during the day around 11 am, he had the coolest tatoo of a burning building with people jumping out the windows. He looked about as hard core as one could be, but was super mellow. I knew that he hung out late-night with the bands but he was dedicated to pounding on the drums too. I would set him up in the big room and he would play for hours and hours all by himself. I was certain he was going to make it..... I guess he didn't?
